MEET OGDEN DRISKILL

Ogden Driskill is a Wyoming native whose family has proudly been ranching in northeastern Wyoming for seven generations. After graduating from Hulett High School in 1977, Ogden attended Casper College, earning his Associate's Degree in Agricultural Business. In 1981, Ogden married his wife, Zannie.  Together they have three children: Andrea (Matt) Wood, Katerie, and Lincoln (Ashley).  He is a proud grandfather to three sweet, young Wyomingites.   

 

Ogden is dedicated to ensuring that Wyoming's families not only survive but thrive! He strives daily to stay engaged in local and regional businesses.  As such, he works with Lincoln and daughter-in-law Ashley to manage his family's historic Campstool Ranch at the foot of Devils Tower in Crook County.  He strongly believes in small business and is an active member of the family management team at the Devils Tower KOA. Daughter Andrea is married to a local rancher and teaches at Moorcroft High School as well as assisting with management at the KOA and operating TriState Communications, which owns radio stations KYDT and KBFS operating as Dirt Road Radio.  Daughter Katerie lives in Oregon where she works in the judicial system. 

Ogden was first elected to the Wyoming State Senate in 2010, and was re-elected in 2014. During his tenure, Ogden has served on the Senate Ag Committee and the Select Water Committee. Ogden has previously served on the Senate Revenue Committee as well as being on the Senate Labor, Health, and Social Services Committee. Currently he serves as Vice Chair of the Select Water Committee and on the Senate Appropriations Committee.

 

Outside of the Senate, Ogden is a member of the Wyoming Stockgrowers Association, the Partnership of Rangeland Trusts, and the Land Trust Alliance. An active member of the Republican Party, Ogden has been a Delegate to the past two Republican National Conventions.
